Affiliate Disclosure

Safe, Actually is supported in part through affiliate commissions.

Some links on this website are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and make a qualifying purchase, I may receive a commission from the provider or affiliate network, at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate Links and My Recommendations

Affiliate commissions do not decide which products I recommend or which product wins a comparison.

My recommendations are based on the evidence relevant to the particular product, device, and use case. This may include my own testing, current product information, independent evidence, and user-reported experiences.

If a cheaper option, free option, different provider, or no VPN at all makes more sense, I will say so.

You can read more about my evaluation process on the How I Test page.

Free Access and Sponsored Content

A company may occasionally provide free or temporary access to a product for testing. When relevant, I will disclose that relationship.

If Safe, Actually ever publishes content that is directly sponsored or paid for by a company, it will be clearly identified as sponsored content.

Disclosure on Individual Content

Pages containing affiliate recommendations will include a clear disclosure near the relevant links or recommendations.

YouTube content containing affiliate links will also include appropriate disclosure with the video.
